Shoe Brake - Spring Applied/Air Release

The Carlson SB Shoe Brake is a spring applied, air release brake engineered for dependable holding and stopping performance in demanding industrial applications. Designed to engage a keyed brake drum mounted to a shaft, the SB Shoe Brake delivers high braking torque through a rugged, fail-safe design. An eccentric bushing is furnished to accommodate a torque pin for simplified installation and adjustment, while the clockwise drum rotation relative to the piston ensures proper brake operation. Available in three standard sizes (7SB200, 10SB275, and 14SB350), the SB Shoe Brake provides reliable, long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance requirements.
