SAB - Spring Applied/Air Release

The Carlson SAB Series Spring Applied / Air Release Enclosed Brake is engineered for high-torque industrial braking applications requiring dependable fail-safe performance. Available in four standard models (SAB112, SAB212, SAB116, and SAB216), the SAB Series features a totally enclosed housing, pre-burnished organic non-asbestos friction linings, and high-temperature piston seals that allow for increased piston diameter and greater braking torque. A flexible backplate design enables the brake to be adapted to customer-specific mounting requirements while delivering reliable long-term performance in demanding industrial environments.
