PM - Heavy duty industrial Air clutch
The PM Air Clutch is a self-contained, bearing-mounted clutch designed for pilot mount applications where the clutch is mounted directly to the end of a driven shaft. Its finned pressure plate, torque assembly, shaft adapter, and pilot backplate provide a compact, reliable solution for mounting sheaves, sprockets, gears, and other power transmission components.
Dual friction linings, finned pressure plates, and a high-temperature diaphragm deliver exceptional torque capacity, cooler operation, and extended service life. Positive disengagement eliminates clutch drag, while finished bore and keyway options simplify installation and maintenance, making the PM series an ideal choice for demanding industrial power transmission applications.
