The Carlson Company manufactures the sprocket using a one-way clutch, shaft, brake, and mounting pedestal. The tension brake is spring applied and always engaged, holding the tire in place before it is moved into the press. Torque rating of the brake is 1400 in\/lbs static and 930 in\/lbs dynamic.
