The brakes contain multiple friction linings that are immersed in an oil bath, providing longer service life and protecting the brakes from corrosive atmospheres.<\/p>\n<p>HPB brakes have been designed and used on motors that include horsepower ratings of 20HP, 25HP, 40HP, 60HP, and 100HP.
