CSB spring applied/Air release

The CSB Series Spring Applied Air Release Caliper Brakes are fail-safe industrial braking systems engineered to provide reliable static holding and emergency stopping for demanding power transmission applications. Utilizing dual opposing brake pistons, the CSB Series applies uniform braking force to both sides of the rotor through spring force, while compressed air releases the brake for normal operation. This design provides dependable braking in the event of air pressure loss, making it ideal for safety-critical applications.

The compact two-bolt mounting configuration simplifies installation and maintenance, while replaceable friction linings allow for quick service with minimal downtime. Rotor thickness can be accommodated by changing the brake spacer, providing flexibility for both new equipment and retrofit applications.
