CBSA - Spring applied/air release

The Carlson CBSA Spring Applied Air Release Caliper Brake is a compact, high-performance brake engineered for static holding, emergency stopping, and fail-safe braking applications. Heavy-duty springs apply consistent braking force by clamping opposing friction linings against the rotor, while compressed air releases the brake to provide smooth, drag-free operation during normal equipment use.

Designed for dependable performance in demanding industrial environments, the CBSA delivers high static holding torque in a compact package while minimizing installation space. Quick-change friction linings can be replaced in minutes by removing a simple retaining clip and caliper shoe, reducing maintenance time and maximizing equipment uptime.
