CBAA - Air Applied/Spring Release

The Carlson CBAA Air Applied Spring Release Caliper Brake is a compact, high-performance pneumatic brake designed for industrial applications requiring dependable static holding force, emergency stopping, and easy maintenance. Compressed air applies the braking force by clamping opposing friction linings against the rotor, while internal springs retract the linings when air pressure is removed, providing positive brake release and drag-free operation.

The CBAA's rugged caliper design delivers high torque capacity in a compact package, making it ideal for installations where space is limited but reliable braking performance is essential. Quick-change friction linings can be replaced in minutes by removing a simple retaining clip and caliper shoe, minimizing downtime and simplifying routine maintenance.
