Air Shaft Seals

Carlson Air Shaft Seals provide a reliable method of transmitting air from a stationary supply to the rotating members of air clutches and air brakes. The slip-on design eliminates the need for long rifle-drilled air passages through the shaft, simplifying installation and expanding application flexibility.

A balanced air pressure design minimizes internal drag and supports higher operating speeds, while finned rotating rings provide effective heat dissipation for cooler operation and longer service life. Micro-lapped rotating rings and self-sealing carbon graphite stationary seals provide dependable, leak-resistant operation.

Available in four sizes—250, 350, 500, and 700—Carlson Air Shaft Seals accommodate a range of shaft sizes and operating requirements. Each unit is factory tested prior to shipment to help ensure dependable performance and installation readiness.
