76011 - Spring applied air release

The Carlson 76011 Dual Caliper Brake is a heavy-duty, spring applied / air release brake designed for reliable stopping and holding performance in demanding industrial applications. Its fail-safe design automatically applies braking force when air pressure is removed and releases at a minimum of 80 PSI.

Featuring dual calipers, rugged steel housing construction, stainless steel pistons and cylinders, and high-temperature non-asbestos friction linings, the 76011 delivers up to 167,000 in-lbs of static torque with a 40" rotor. Its pedestal-mount configuration provides a compact, rigid installation while the open caliper design allows for easy inspection and maintenance.
