75031 - Spring applied air release

The Carlson 75031 Caliper Brake is a heavy-duty, spring applied / air release brake designed for reliable stopping and holding performance in demanding industrial applications. Its fail-safe design automatically applies braking force when air pressure is removed and releases at a minimum of 80 PSI.

Built with a rugged steel housing, stainless steel piston and cylinder construction, and high-temperature non-asbestos friction linings, the 75031 delivers up to 83,000 in-lbs of static torque with a 40" rotor. Its open caliper design provides easy inspection and maintenance while offering dependable performance and long service life.
