The Carlson 7503 Spring Applied / Air Release Caliper Brake is a heavy-duty industrial caliper brake engineered for dependable static holding, emergency stopping, and fail-safe braking applications. Heavy-duty springs provide consistent braking force while compressed air releases the brake, delivering reliable performance even during loss of air pressure.

Constructed with a rugged steel housing and stainless steel piston and cylinder assembly, the 7503 is built for long service life in demanding industrial environments. High-temperature, non-asbestos friction linings provide excellent wear resistance, while the open caliper design allows for easy inspection and maintenance.

Designed for use with 35-inch and 40-inch diameter rotors, the 7503 delivers up to 4,700 lbs of static braking force and 83,000 in-lbs of static torque, making it ideal for heavy-duty machinery requiring reliable stopping power and fail-safe operation.
